Solar Goes Modular: GreenRay Raises $2M : Greentech Media

Built-in inverters: allowing you to get AC right from the panel instead of having DC down to a single inverter.  It's looking like an industry trend, especially with Enphase Energy teaming up with solar panel manufacturers to have them available off the shelf.

I'd like to see them available and the microinverters field replaceable.
