DIY Infrared thermal Image (using Excel and a TD100)

You can manually create an infrared thermal image of a wall of your house.  It takes about thirty minutes total.  It doesn't give you the instant gratification that a $2,000 US infrared camera gives, but it does give you the information you need to make needed repairs to insulation, windows, doors and more.

Motion Sensor for Fluorescent Lights!

Finally, a sensor that works with fluorescents! the older "Safer" brand only works with incandescents (have a couple of these in the pantry and the laundry closet), and was dismayed that it didn't work with CFL's. Rosewill DC-AC converter

Good price for a low power converter for that room at a time solar project.  Won't allow any of your guests to run their 1500W blowdryer or that Dyson vacuum cleaner, but the maid should be using the broom and dustpan anyway.

A guest room, a garage, those lights the kids always leave on despite pleas, threats, bribes, and diatribes ("when I was a kid..."). Here's a quick overview of what you can do, and links to sites that offer these opportunities.
